By accessing, browsing or making a purchase on www.star-toner.com you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. We recommend reading them carefully. If you do not accept any of the clauses, please do not use the site or buy our products.

2. Purpose and acceptance

These Terms govern access to and use of the website www.star-toner.com (hereinafter, the "Site"), as well as the distance sale of products offered by Startoner: toner, ink cartridges, printing consumables and related items.

Placing an order means express and unconditional acceptance of these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, our Cookie Policy and our Refund Policy.

3. Site access and user registration

To use the Site you must be over 18 years old and have legal capacity to contract. Creating an account is optional, since you can also place orders as a guest, but it lets you review your history and speed up future purchases. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for any activity carried out under your account. If you detect unauthorised use, contact us immediately at info@star-toner.com.

You agree to use the Site lawfully and not for fraudulent, abusive purposes contrary to public order or the law, and not to perform any action that may damage or overload our systems.

4. Ordering process (Art. 27 LSSI-CE + Arts. 97–98 LGDCU)

  1. Select the products and add them to the cart.
  2. Review the order summary, shipping costs and taxes before paying.
  3. Enter your shipping and billing details and choose a payment method.
  4. Tick the box accepting the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.
  5. Complete the purchase. Doing so constitutes a binding offer to buy.
  6. You will receive an order confirmation email with the purchase summary; this email is the acceptance of your offer and the moment the contract is formed.
  7. If you spot a mistake in your details before paying, you can correct it from the cart or the checkout step. Once the order is confirmed, any errors must be reported to info@star-toner.com within 24 hours.

The contracting language is Spanish, with English summaries of these Terms available for reference. We keep an electronic copy of every order and you may request one at any time.

5. Prices, taxes and payment methods

  • Prices are shown in euros (€) and include VAT at the applicable rate (21% under the standard Spanish regime).
  • Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on weight, destination and carrier. Any active promotion (for example, free shipping above a certain order value) is applied automatically when the conditions are met.
  • We accept payment by credit and debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Payment gateways are operated by PCI-DSS certified providers; Startoner does not store full card numbers.
  • We reserve the right to update prices without prior notice; however, the prices applicable to your order are those in force when the order is confirmed.

6. Availability and right to refuse orders

All our offers are subject to stock availability. If, after confirmation, we find that a product is unavailable, we will let you know as soon as possible and you will have the right to (a) wait for restocking, (b) replace it with an equivalent, or (c) cancel the order with a full refund within 14 calendar days (art. 110 LGDCU).

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders where there is reasonable evidence of fraud, incorrect data, unverified payments, misuse of discounts or activity incompatible with these Terms.

7. Shipping and delivery

Delivery times, shipping costs and coverage areas are detailed in our Shipping Policy. Published times are estimates from our carriers and may be affected by events outside Startoner's control (public holidays, weather, customs, etc.).

The risk of the product passes to the consumer at the moment of physical delivery (art. 66 bis LGDCU). If the packaging shows visible damage, we recommend noting it on the carrier's delivery slip and reporting it to us within the next 24 hours.

8. Right of withdrawal and legal warranty

You have 14 calendar days from receipt to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason (art. 102 LGDCU). Startoner voluntarily extends this period to 30 days as a commercial commitment. You will find the full procedure, the model form (Annex B LGDCU) and the exceptions of art. 103 LGDCU in our Refund and Right of Withdrawal Policy.

All our products carry a 3-year legal guarantee of conformity under article 120 of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (LGDCU), as amended by RD-Law 7/2021 transposing EU Directive 2019/771. If a product is not in conformity, you may require its repair, replacement, a price reduction or termination of the contract (art. 117 LGDCU).

9. Intellectual and industrial property

All Site content (text, photographs, video, logos, trademarks, code, databases, graphic design) is owned by CHICTRATEC S.L. or its licensors and is protected by Royal Legislative Decree 1/1996 of 12 April, approving the consolidated text of the Intellectual Property Act, and by Trade Marks Act 17/2001.

Reproduction, distribution, public communication, transformation or any other form of exploitation, in whole or in part, is prohibited without the prior written authorisation of CHICTRATEC S.L. The trademarks of printer manufacturers (HP, Canon, Brother, Epson, Samsung, Lexmark, Kyocera, Xerox, OKI) belong to their respective owners; we use them solely for descriptive purposes to indicate the compatibility of our consumables, without implying any link, sponsorship or approval by those manufacturers.

10. Personal data protection

The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, in compliance with the GDPR and the Spanish Data Protection Act (LOPDGDD). By placing an order you authorise the processing of your data for the performance of the contract, invoicing and after-sales care.

11. Cookies

The Site uses first-party and third-party cookies in accordance with our Cookie Policy. You can configure your preferences at any time from the footer banner.

12. Liability and external links

Startoner is liable to the consumer for any lack of conformity of the products under the applicable Spanish legislation. We do not accept liability for damage arising from:

  • Incorrect installation of the consumable, where this is not attributable to the product itself.
  • Use of the product in a printer whose compatibility reference has not been verified by the buyer.
  • Service interruptions caused by external technical issues (power outage, hosting provider failure, denial-of-service attacks).

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. Startoner does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy policies or commercial practices of those external sites.

13. Communications

Any notice Startoner needs to send you will be sent to the email address provided in your order. Any communication you wish to send us should be sent to info@star-toner.com.

14. Dispute resolution

If a dispute arises we encourage you to contact us first at info@star-toner.com to seek an amicable solution. If no agreement is reached, the following out-of-court routes are available:

  • Andalusia Consumer Arbitration Board. Startoner undertakes to cooperate in any arbitration proceedings initiated by the consumer.
  • Your nearest OMIC (Municipal Consumer Information Office).
  • European online dispute resolution platform (ODR): https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be submitted, without prejudice to the consumer's mandatory rights, to the Courts and Tribunals of the consumer's place of residence, in accordance with art. 90.2 LGDCU.

16. Amendments to these Terms

Startoner may update these Terms to adapt them to legislative, technical or operational changes. The current version, with its last update date, is always available on this page. Amendments affecting contracts already concluded will be notified to the customer for acceptance whenever required by law.

17. Severability

If any clause of these Terms is declared null or unenforceable by a competent authority, the remaining clauses will remain fully in force.
