Background

I founded Recycop in Tangier in 1998 · one of the first companies in the Strait region dedicated to manufacturing and recycling compatible toner cartridges. Twenty-five years later, Recycop is still active, now with industrial presence in Morocco and a Spanish commercial operation through CHICTRATEC S.L. (Startoner), central warehouse in Los Barrios (Cádiz).

Over these years I have watched the sector move from craft-remanufactured cartridges to compatibility manufactured under ISO 9001, and from the customer who wondered whether a compatible would "damage the printer" to the informed consumer who claims their 3-year legal guarantee under art. 120 RDL 1/2007 and Directive (EU) 2019/771. Certified compatibles are today as reliable as OEM · at 70 % lower cost.
