How many pages does it print?
Prints up to 3,000 pages in black and 2,300 per colour measured according to ISO/IEC 19798 with 5% coverage. This is the same methodology Brother uses for its original TN248XL cartridge, so the comparison is fair. Actual yield depends on the type of document: dense texts yield less, while emails and low-coverage documents yield slightly more.

How to install?
- Turn off the printer and open the front door.
- Identify the four CMYK cartridges by color or label.
- If your model separates toner and drum, remove the assembly and separate the cartridge from the drum (do not touch the green roller).
- Remove the used cartridge, shake the new one 5 times, and remove the tab.
- Insert the cartridge into the coded slot for the correct color.
- Close the cover, turn on the printer, and wait for the chip to sync (typically 60 seconds).
Do I lose my printer warranty?
No. Art. 120 of RDL 1/2007 and Directive (EU) 2019/771 prohibit manufacturers from voiding your warranty for using compatible consumables. According to Directive (EU) 2024/1799 on the right to repair (in force July 31, 2026), using compatible cartridges does not affect the manufacturer's warranty.

Does it have a chip and will my printer recognize it?
Yes, it features an updated compatible chip. If your printer shows "non-original cartridge" after a Dynamic Security update, do not update the firmware while using compatibles.
How do I change just one CMYK color?
Each color is independent. Replace only the cartridge for the depleted color, leaving the other three in place: the printer automatically detects which one is new and syncs it.
