Is it compatible with your printer?

This family of HP Color LaserJet machines uses the same series of toners (CB540A for black and its colour siblings CB541A/542A/543A, with equivalents CE320A–CE323A). They are desktop machines built for small offices and heavy home use. If you have any of these models, this is your cartridge:

What sets the variants apart? The letters tell you: MFP are multifunction machines (they print, copy and scan), the n adds Ethernet network connectivity, the nfi also adds fax and a built-in scanner, and the ni adds networking with extended functions. The CP1215, the most basic, is a printer only. The machine's functions change, but the toner they use is the same, so you don't have to worry about the exact variant when it's time to restock.
