• Gently shake it horizontally several times to distribute the toner evenly.
• Insert it until you hear the click and close the door. The machine will detect it automatically.

If a message such as "cartridge not recognised" or "non-original consumable" appears, it is usually because the machine has not finished reading the chip. Try switching the printer off and on after installation: on restart, it reads the chip again and the message disappears in most cases. Also check that the chip is clean and properly seated. On the bizhub machines, some "non-original" warnings are purely informational and allow you to continue printing as normal.
