How to install it and what to do if it "does not recognise the cartridge"

Close the door and the bizhub will start recognition automatically.

If a toner not recognised or incorrect level warning appears, try these steps in order:

• Remove and refit the cartridge, checking that it is seated properly and that the chip is clean.
• Switch the machine off at the main switch, wait a minute and turn it back on to force the chip to be re-read.
• If the machine asks you to confirm a new consumable, accept the message from the panel to reset the counter.

The TN414 incorporates its own chip, so under normal conditions you do not need any manual reset: simply restart the machine. If the warning persists after these steps, get in touch and we will look into it with you.
