How to install it and what to do if the "cartridge is not recognised"

When you close the door, the printer will run a brief calibration cycle.

Since this toner already includes a chip, you don't need any additional part or manual reset in most cases. If a message such as "cartridge not recognised", "not compatible" or "supply problem" appears, try the following:

• Turn the printer off, wait a minute and turn it back on so it re-reads the chip.
• Remove the cartridge and put it back in, checking that it fits fully and that you removed all the seals.
• Carefully clean the gold contacts on the chip with a dry cloth.
