It is not the toner
The toner is the powder that runs out quickly; the drum is the cylinder that lasts far longer. Replacing only the drum, without buying a whole cartridge, is the cheapest way to keep your printer up to date.

The drum, imaging unit or photoconductor (OPC) is the cylinder that transfers the toner onto the paper inside your laser printer. It is not the toner: it is the part that deposits it. On many Brother, Lexmark and OKI printers, and some Canon or Samsung models, it is replaced separately.
The toner is the powder that runs out quickly; the drum is the cylinder that lasts far longer. Replacing only the drum, without buying a whole cartridge, is the cheapest way to keep your printer up to date.
A drum yields between 10.000 and 80.000 pages, compared with the 1.000–3.000 of a toner. That is why it outlasts several cartridges before needing replacement, and its cost per page is minimal.

Your Startoner consumable is covered by a three-year legal conformity guarantee. Printer coverage is governed by the manufacturer’s terms and may exclude damage caused by consumables. Using a compatible cartridge does not by itself establish the cause of a fault; keep your documentation and contact us if a problem occurs.
We have gathered 25 drum references from the leading brands. Search by the code printed on your current drum or by your printer model. If you don't see your reference, message us on WhatsApp and we'll track it down for you.

Already know which manufacturer made your printer? Filter directly by brand to reach your drum faster. And if what you need is the powder and not the cylinder, jump to the toner collection.
There are three quick ways to get it right first time. All of them start from information you already have to hand: the drum itself, the printer or the box of the consumable you currently use.
This is the most reliable method. Look at the code on your current drum or on its box (for example DR2400, CF257A, CRG-051 or MLT-R116) and search for it exactly. That code identifies the exact part you need.
If you can't find the reference, type in your machine's model (HL-L2350DW, LaserJet M203, i-SENSYS LBP162, MS410) and we'll show you the compatible drum. Not sure? We'll confirm it for you on WhatsApp within minutes.
Remember that the drum is not the toner: the toner is the powder that prints and the drum is the cylinder that transfers it. If your printer warns you to "replace drum" or shows "drum", you need this imaging unit, not a cartridge.
You buy with the law on your side and real backing against any defect.

Batch traceabilityIf a drum arrives defective or does not yield as stated, we replace it free of charge. What's more, using it never voids your printer's warranty.
Free replacement for defectsThe toner is the powder that forms the image and runs out every 1.000–3.000 pages. The drum (or imaging unit) is the photoconductor cylinder that transfers that powder onto the paper and lasts much longer, between 10.000 and 80.000 pages. On many Brother, Lexmark, Canon or Samsung printers they are separate parts: you change several toners before you have to replace the drum.
When the printer shows a "replace drum", "drum" or "imaging unit" message, or when smudges, repeated lines or faded areas appear that changing the toner does not fix. Each model has its own lifespan: for example, a DR2400 yields 12.000 pages and a CF257A up to 80.000.
No. Directive (EU) 2019/771 and Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (Art. 120) prohibit the manufacturer from forcing you to use only its own brand.
The quickest way is to read the code printed on your current drum or on its box (DR2300, CF232A, CRG-049, D310, MLT-R116…) and search for it. If you can't find it, tell us your printer model and we'll tell you the exact drum. You can also message us on WhatsApp and we'll confirm it right away.
