A compatible Samsung drum is the imaging unit (or OPC photoconductor) of your laser printer: the cylinder that receives the toner and transfers it to the paper. It isn't the toner, but the part that applies it. Manufactured to the ISO 9001 standard, it offers the same service life as the Samsung original at up to 70% less cost.
Toner is the powder that forms the image; the drum is the photoconductor cylinder that charges it and deposits it onto the paper. They are two different consumables: on many Samsung printers they are replaced separately, so changing only the drum avoids buying parts that still work.

Getting the imaging unit right is simple: most of the time it's enough to read the reference printed on the drum itself or identify your printer model. Here are the three ways to make sure before you buy.
This is the most reliable method. Look for the code on the imaging unit or on the original box: on Samsung it usually starts with "MLT-R", like the reference MLT-R116. That code identifies exactly the drum you need, with no margin for error.
If you can't see the reference, check your device model (for example, the Xpress range M2625, M2675, M2825 or M2875). Enter it in the search box or tell us on WhatsApp and we'll point you to the correct compatible Samsung drum.
Remember that the drum is not the toner. If your print comes out fine but faint or blank, you probably need toner; if smudges, lines or repeated marks appear, the one to change is the drum. If in doubt, we'll help you tell them apart.
Using a third-party compatible drum does not void your Samsung printer's warranty. EU Directive 2019/771 and Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 art. 120 provide a 3-year legal warranty on our consumables, and the manufacturer cannot force you to buy only original spare parts.
