What's the difference between compatible Canon 045 and 045H?

The suffix tells you the capacity: 045 is the standard version (~1,400 pages at 5% coverage) and 045H is the high-yield version (~2,800 pages, twice as many). Both fit the Canon i-SENSYS LBP611 and MF631/MF635. The same logic applies to other Canon references: X = ultra high capacity, H = high, no suffix = standard.

What should I do if my Canon i-SENSYS doesn't recognise the compatible toner?

Some recent Canon models display an informational "non-Canon toner" message. The printer keeps working normally. To clear the notice: (1) Power-cycle the printer.
