HP 711 compatible ink cartridge for DesignJet T120, T520 and T530 | ISO 9001

What it is and which printers it works with

The HP 711 is the range of ink cartridges used by the desktop A1-format DesignJet plotters. This compatible cartridge is valid for exactly the following models:

• HP DesignJet T525
• HP DesignJet T530

If your machine is one of these, the cartridge fits without adapters or additional parts. Check the model on the front label of your plotter before buying so you don't confuse it with other DesignJet ranges that use different references.

How to install it and what to do if "the cartridge is not recognised"

Installation is identical to that of an original cartridge: open the cartridge cover, remove the used one and fit the new one until you hear the securing click. Always remove the protective seal before inserting it and avoid touching the contacts with your fingers.

If after the change a cartridge not recognised warning or a chip error appears, try these steps:

• Remove the cartridge and carefully clean the gold contacts with a dry, lint-free cloth; then reinsert it.
• Switch the plotter off for a few minutes and back on again to force a fresh reading of the chip.
• If you use several cartridges, install them one at a time to identify which one is causing the warning.
