• If the machine lets you carry on despite the warning, accept it: it is an informational notice and does not stop you printing.

Bear in mind that HP releases firmware updates that can block non-genuine cartridges. If your printer works fine with compatible consumables, consider disabling automatic updates to avoid any surprises.
