80 mm rolls for receipts: what to check before buying

Receipt and point-of-sale printers, such as the KW-M806 and the KW-M804, use 80 mm wide receipt rolls. It's the standard width in most shops, bars and stores. On the software side, these receipt printers speak ESC/POS, the most widespread language for POS systems, so they usually integrate without trouble with most till software.
