A verified grid, even if an official source is pending
The civil calendar and public holidays are two distinct layers. The year 2027 has 365 days; 1 January falls on Friday and February ends on Sunday 28. We generated and validated the days of the year so each date aligns to its correct column. You can review the calendar grids used and the digital review report · Spanish documentation (ZIP).
The base template does not mark a day as a holiday by guesswork. It is for organising appointments, deliveries, tasks or family activities, and leaves space to complete your own calendar. The regional sheets add only the dates we have been able to check against the cited sources. A Saturday or Sunday in grey identifies the weekend, not a declared public holiday.

2027 holidays: check your autonomous community
This table summarizes the status of consulted Spanish official sources and provides the page number in the regional PDF. "Confirmed" applies to dates marked in the sheet and scope described. It does not replace local municipal holiday declarations.

In the Balearic Islands and Madrid, we use the official approval announcements that list the dates. In the other territories whose dates have been checked, the sources are official bulletins or official pages that identify the rule. The detailed registry · Spanish documentation (ZIP) lets you review each date, its day of the week and the limitations of the source check.
Four details that change the sheet you need
Canary Islands: choose your island
The common Canary Islands sheet includes eleven dates. Island-specific sheets add the corresponding island patron holiday: Tenerife, 2 February; La Palma, 5 August; Gran Canaria, 8 September; Lanzarote and La Graciosa, 15 September; Fuerteventura, 17 September; El Hierro, 24 September; and La Gomera, 4 October. Then add municipal holidays. Sourced from the annex of Decree 115/2026 of the Government of the Canary Islands [5].
The variants are on pages 20 to 27 of the PDF, in this order: El Hierro, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, La Gomera, La Palma, Lanzarote, La Graciosa and Tenerife. Do not add an island holiday from another island.
Aran: a replacement, not an extra holiday
The Generalitat de Catalunya [9] indicates that in Aran, 17 June replaces 29 March. That is why page 28 features its own selection. If you use the general Catalonia sheet in Aran and add June without removing March, you would be mixing two calendars.
Navarre and Melilla: take care when adding local holidays
The Resolution 232/2026 of Navarre [15] includes 3 December as a common local holiday. Our sheet marks thirteen dates and leaves the other local holiday to be added. The official agreement in Melilla [19] includes 8 and 17 September as local holidays: its sheet already contains fourteen dates. The “[L]” notation identifies these holidays in the PDF so you do not add them again.
Extremadura: note the August holiday transfer
Article 2 of Decree 119/2026 of Extremadura [11] moves the rest day for 15 August to 11 October. The sheet marks October. This is an example of why we do not automatically shift every Sunday holiday to the following Monday.
Asturias and Ceuta: what remains pending
For Asturias, we have been able to verify 8 September in the official BOPA text of Decree 7/2026 [3]. The complete annual list has not been verified in this edition. Only that date is therefore marked, together with a partial coverage notice. We have not filled in the rest by copying dates from another territory.
In Ceuta, a full 2027 labour schedule has not been verified. The official BOCCE index [18] is the channel for announcements. The sheet retains all 365 days without holiday highlights. Before using it for work planning, confirm with the official local agreement.
The review has also not located an annual statewide resolution for 2027 that would allow us to complete the overall cross-check here. This describes the result of our source check; it does not certify that no documents exist. When downloading, keep the review date: a saved sheet does not change if a correction is published later.
How to complete your municipality's calendar
- Start with the correct territory. In the Canary Islands and Aran, use the specific variant for your island or comarca.
- Check local municipal holidays. Look up your town in the provincial gazette or labour authority portal. Note the official source and date.
- Review what the sheet already contains. Navarre and Melilla already include specific local dates; do not duplicate them.
- Add your personal dates. Use a distinct marker for holidays, shifts, appointments, or school recesses so they stay distinguishable.
Public labour holidays, administrative non-working days, and school breaks follow separate calendars. The labour holiday framework is set by Article 37.2 of the Workers' Statute [20]; to finalize your calendar, consult the official gazette applicable to your area. We do not include school recesses or calculate personal work shifts.
How to print without clipping margins
Open the PDF file, select A4 paper and landscape orientation. Check the print preview and use “Fit to printable area” if the viewer indicates that the content extends beyond it. The names of these options may vary depending on the program and printer. First, print one copy of the page you want to use.
For the fridge or a noticeboard, the annual view brings the whole year together on one sheet. For more space to write, use the monthly pages: each day has a large box, and there is space for priorities. In the base PDF, January is page 2 and December is page 13. You do not need to print the entire pack.
If printing from a mobile device, read our guide on how to print from your phone. If you prefer a booklet, check how to print double-sided and verify orientation before running large jobs. To plan printing costs, you can estimate print cost per page. We have not measured ink usage or tested these specific files on physical printers.
The layout uses a clean white background, vector text, and fine rules. You can print in color or choose grayscale: holidays remain identifiable by circle markings, not color alone. If you need supplies, check our Startoner compatible ink cartridges.
Questions before downloading
Is this an official calendar?
This is an original Startoner design prepared using the cited sources. The linked official documents are the reference for the dates. The cover, layout and downloadable sheets are ours.
Why are some city holidays missing?
Regional coverage does not replace municipal verification. Some sources publish town holidays, but we have not mapped all municipalities across Spain. Each sheet's scope is documented in the registry.
Can I share these files?
You can share these original PDFs free of charge while preserving the review date, sources and coverage notices. This lets recipients check which version they are using. For other paper activities, we also have our printable handwriting worksheets.
