What toner and drum does the Canon i-SENSYS MF112 need, plus 5 compatible models

Actualizado 18 julio 2026

Looking for toner for your Canon i-SENSYS MF112, LBP112 or any machine in the LBP110 and MF110 series? These monochrome laser printers work with a two-piece separate system: the Canon CRG-047 toner, which yields 1,600 pages, and the Canon CRG-049 image drum, which lasts 12,000 pages. Our compatible versions offer the same print quality for a fraction of the original price. See the compatible CRG-047 toner and the compatible CRG-049 drum.

Is it compatible with your printer?

The CRG-047 toner and CRG-049 drum are the consumables fitted by this entire family of Canon monochrome laser printers. If you own any of these models, these are your references:

  • Canon i-SENSYS LBP110 series
  • Canon i-SENSYS LBP112
  • Canon i-SENSYS LBP113w
  • Canon i-SENSYS MF110 series
  • Canon i-SENSYS MF112
  • Canon i-SENSYS MF113w

The difference between models is in the chassis, not the consumable. The LBP units are simple printers (print only), while the MF units are multifunction machines that also copy and scan. The letter w (as in LBP113w or MF113w) indicates Wi-Fi connectivity for cable-free printing. The "series" designations (LBP110 series and MF110 series) group together several submodels of the same range that share exactly the same toner and drum. Whatever your variant, the CRG-047 and CRG-049 fit. If you have doubts about your exact reference, use our printer finder.

The consumable you need and what it yields

This range uses a separate toner + drum system, which is common in Canon monochrome lasers. Each piece has a different function and lifespan:

  • Compatible Canon CRG-047 toner: this is the piece that contains the printing powder and the one you use up most often. It yields 1,600 pages according to the ISO/IEC 19752 standard (the yield measurement standard for monochrome toner), at 5% coverage.
  • Compatible Canon CRG-049 drum: this is the photoconductor cylinder that transfers the toner to the paper. It lasts much longer, 12,000 pages, that is, the equivalent of about seven and a half toners. You only change it when you notice repeated defects on the sheet.

In practice: you replace the CRG-047 toner several times and, when the drum reaches the end of its life, you replace the CRG-049 just once. If you want to fully understand the difference between the two pieces and when it's time to change each one, we explain it in the guide toner vs. drum, and you have all the details of the cylinder in the CRG-049 drum guide. Changing the toner is a matter of seconds: follow our step-by-step guide to installing a toner.

How much printing costs you

Here is the key to the savings. A compatible CRG-047 toner yields the same 1,600 pages as the original, and a compatible CRG-049 drum gives you the same 12,000 pages, but paying much less for each piece. Since it's a system of independent toner and drum, the savings multiply: you replace the toner often and get thousands of pages out of the drum, so the cost per page falls notably compared to branded consumables. We don't give you a fixed figure because prices change; check the current toner price and calculate your real savings with the savings calculator. You'll see how much you recover compared to the original while keeping the print quality.

Frequently asked questions

What toner does my Canon i-SENSYS MF112 or LBP112 need?

The Canon CRG-047 toner. It is the reference fitted by both the MF112 and the LBP112, as well as the rest of the LBP110 and MF110 series models. These machines also use the Canon CRG-049 drum, which is a separate, longer-lasting piece.

How many pages does the toner print and how often do I change the drum?

The CRG-047 toner yields 1,600 pages (ISO/IEC 19752) at 5% coverage. The CRG-049 drum lasts 12,000 pages, roughly what more than seven toners last. That's why you replace the toner frequently and the drum only occasionally.

Does using a compatible toner void the printer's warranty?

No. The law protects you: article 120 of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (the General Law for the Defence of Consumers) establishes that using compatible consumables does not void your printer's warranty. The manufacturer cannot force you to buy only its brand. Our toners meet the quality standards required to work just like the original.

How long does shipping take and from what amount is it free?

We ship within 24-48 hours across mainland Spain. Shipping is free from €50 of purchase, so if you replace toner and drum at the same time or order several units, it comes with no transport cost.

Explore our full range in the compatible Canon toner collection and resolve your questions about parts in the toner vs. drum guide. All our consumables are manufactured under ISO 9001 quality standards and come with a 3-year warranty, so you can print with the same peace of mind as with the original.
